Who We Are

PFLAG Edwardsville is currently the only PFLAG chapter in Southern Illinois.  We work with PFLAG Greater St. Louis, as well as small towns throughout the St. Louis Metro East area and beyond.  Our mission is to create a culture of love and acceptance for all and especially the LGBTQ+ community, through representation, advocacy, education and love.

The Trevor Project crisis counselors are trained to answer calls, chats, or texts from LGBTQ+ young people who reach out on their free, confidential and secure 24/7 service when they are struggling with issues such as coming out, LGBTQ+ identity, depression, and suicide.

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

SQSH (St. Louis Queer+ Support Helpline) offers free, confidential, and identity-affirming emotional support and resource referrals. By and for the St. Louis LGBTQIA+ community. Available Friday to Monday, 1pm to 7pm.  Request a Call
